28 weeks later is a 2007 British post-apocalyptic horror film, and sequel to the film later in 2002, 28 days. The film was directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States May 11, 2007. It was filmed mainly in London, England, with some scenes were also filmed at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Plot
Don (Robert Carlyle) and his wife Alice (Catherine McCormack) prepare for dinner in the living with an elderly couple and 2 other people who are the only survivors of a large house somewhere in strengthening rural areas, Rage infected Brittany. As they are taking their food, suddenly hear a young man banging on the door begging to be let in. At first, do not hold open because the rabies virus' outbreak. Do not open the door for the inner child, who is said to Sandford, and has been fleeing his parents who are now infected. Moments later, a package of infected discover the hideout and break in, quickly overwhelming the group. Alice refuses to leave without the child, Don abandons Alice and escapes in a boat, emerging as the only survivor.
In the course of 28 weeks, all those infected have died of hunger and United Kingdom is declared relatively safe again, so back to the population. The re-building of the United Kingdom begins. The product throughout the process of weeks.
An American-led NATO force under the command of Brigadier General Stone (Idris Elba), began to repopulate the country with old and new residents. The chief doctor of the District 1 Major Scarlet Ross (Rose Byrne), is surprised by the inclusion of younger patients, among which are Tammy (Imogen Poots) and Andy (Mackintosh Muggleton), Don and Alice of children were in Spain during the initial outbreak.

A blood test reveals that you are infected with the rabies virus, but show few symptoms, labeling her an asymptomatic carrier, as evidenced by their bloodied eye. While Scarlet Alice wants to keep alive the search for a possible vaccine or cure, it is overruled by Stone, who killed Alice wants to avoid a possible new outbreak of rabies.
Don visits his children in a holding room, where they face him about his version of the death of Alicia. The group is divided into an abandoned car to escape the infected and the chemistry of clouds of gas being vented in the City by the military. In the process of starting the car by pushing it, Doyle is killed by soldiers with flamethrowers. Scarlet units in the London Underground to evade pursuing an Apache helicopter, where, armed with M4 rifles Doyle, and children remain. This is his way of guiding the way in the night-vision rifle optics. When they separate, Scarlet is ambushed and murdered by Don, who has followed. Don bites and attacks Andy. Andy and Tammy outbreaks Don saved from death, despite being infected with rabies virus. Andy remains free of symptoms, including his mother, but becomes the eye of the same color as his mother was after infection. Children continue to Wembley Stadium and are picked up by one at first reluctant Flynn, who flies across the English Channel to France to Doyle instructed to do. Another 28 days pass. Someone asks for help by radio Flynn's helicopter, which happens to be abandoned. As people are heard shouting, a swarm of infected is shown running through a subway exit. Matt is obsessed with his ex-girlfriend, Nicole (Vinessa Shaw), which makes it impossible for him to have relationships with other women. Matt confesses to his brother, John (Adam deva), a priest in training, who has sexual problems because of their obsession. Realizing that Lent is about to start, Matt tells him that John is going to go without sex for 40 days and 40 nights. John warns Matt that celibacy is not easy. Matt and his roommate, Ryan (Paulo Costanzo), are co-workers at a dot-com company in San Francisco and Ryan began an office pool betting on how long it can last for Matt.

After six days, Matt meets a girl named Erica (Shannyn Sossamon), who works for Cyber Nanny, and make plans to see us in a week. When Matt and Erica meet again, make plans to go on a date. At work, Matt finds out about the office pool and a website about her vow of chastity. Matt looks to have been protected by Nanny and Cyber Erica realizes that you must know about his abstinence. Matt and Erica to go to dinner later, go to Matt and Nicole and her new boyfriend. Matt introduces Nicole Erica, and Erica realizes that Matt is celibacy is a result of their rupture with Nicole and leaves the restaurant. Matt co-workers attempt to have sex with Matt Slip Viagra and cut in the office pool, but will Erica's house. Erica and Matt have an erotic encounter, without touching the others.

In Hollywood they realize that they are quickly running out of ideas, it was only a matter of time spent on the purchase of books to buy graphic novels. It is also only a matter of time until they started buying all the rubbish inside graphic novel genre. Fortunately for the public, 30 Days of Night becomes not only one of the best graphic novels of terror, but also leads to one of the best horror films in a long time.
In the small town of Barrow in Alaska, go through a month of darkness, once a year. 30 days of night, and no sunlight. A stranger (Ben Foster) comes to the city, preparing it for the evil that awaits him in the dark. The destruction of cell phones, utilities and all forms of transport, the stranger is preparing the city for a band of vampires who have no weaknesses in a place without sunlight. Eben (Josh Hartnett) and Stella (Melissa George) are the only forms of law in the city, and to help survivors in the last month.
This has been one of my most awaited films of the year. Written for the screen by Steve Niles, and directed by surprise last year newcomer David Slade (Hard Candy), 30 Days of Night shows the new face of horror. I can not stop to compare 28 days later, and not too bad taking into account a comparison of most people 28 days to call one of the best horror films in the last fifteen years. When I make the comparison, since both make the film fall into the genre of survival horror. They are films that do not scare with the escalation of soundtracks or computer generated garbage, which frightened by the danger that looms throughout the film. This is how fear of being face to face with evil, as it is to know is bad after you and you have no escape.
Not to say that 30 days of night does not take any action because it's definitely not. The images appear to have been pulled out of Ben Templesmith's brain, and suddenly so aggressive on the screen by Slade. One of the scenes was that the vampires come out in full force, as the camera gives you a bird's eye view of the carnage and death throughout the city. One problem I have with most horror films, especially vampire movies, vampires, or is that CG look incredibly fake, or are very nice and clean. Slade and Niles' vampires were perfect. Dark, disturbing, evil, and definitely not human, they are vampires that define a standard for what is to come. Visuals of the film of blood and gore are not only used as filler, as are most films, which is used as a catalyst in building the audience for fear. Another reason that horror films are usually not met, is also in the performances of the actors.
28 days later showed us a horror film with emotion and passion. Ciliary Murhpy himself catapulted into stardom with a performance that the majority of directors to kill. Josh Hartnett would not have been my first choice for Eben, but after speaking with Steve Niles I felt much more comfortable with the choice. Steve Hartnett reference Inuit appearance of something, and their performance in Lucky Number Slevin. Although I would not call what he has done Hartnett spectacular, I would say that 30 Days of Night is the first time I've seen actually acting. This performance is even better Hartnett. Therefore, with great respect, great writing and keep a great performance that can go wrong?
